I saw it on Facebook as well. I disagree strongly with using those methods. I’d rather trust Holy Spirit to teach me how to reach folks than use these tactics. I’m old school taught in the way of evangelism, and unless otherwise led, I’ll always be that way.

I must say though, He uses me in ways that surprise me at times. Then I realize, He uses my unique personality traits to minister to certain people; usually the somewhat hard core folk.

At the end of the "tour" we had a live Jesus crucified on the cross and this is where we shared the gospel with those who opted to go through our haunted house. We had well above over a 1000 people who went through it, and 99.9% of those people were sinners.
We had 10%, or a little above 100 people receive Christ and get saved in our haunted house. Everyone heard a short gospel message and received a gospel booklet, along with an invite to come to our Sunday service. Several families who came to our Sunday services later on got saved. All because we used a haunted house for the glory of God. I'm sure the devil was mad because he stirred up a couple of other churches in the area to "cast stones" at us for using the haunted house.
The above is your story and not part of the article at the link, right ? That's interesting because it involves concrete fruit. I'm not sure what the fruit of the destiny cards is but Bethel claim that there is fruit.

This is what she says they use Destiney Cards for:

    1. To encourage people.

    2. To give people hope.

    3. To lead people to Christ.

These cards are nothing more than another tool to reach people with the good news of the gospel.

So, I'm glad there're using Destiny Cards to get the gospel exposed to sinners.

Smitty, I've heard of churches doing the "haunted house" thing, but the difference between that and using pseudo-tarot-Destiny cards is that a person knows going in what to expect...I can see the haunted houses used as an evangelical tool whose clear purpose is to be an in-your-face presentation of the Gospel..versus something being presented like--
"We practice a form of supernatural healing that flows from the universal presence of the Christ. We draw from the same divine energy of the Christ spirit, as ancient followers did and operate only out of the third heaven realm to gain insight and revelation," they say.

It slips in quietly, little by little.

See, we are just like you, won't you join us? They aren't making converts, they are recruiting witches.

That church is not gonna last long.

Here is one of their videos :

Here is their facebook page :

I can't sense even a trickle of the Holy Spirit being present and at work in the video and I can't find any reference to Jesus or salvation. Just generic stuff that could mean anything.

This is their facebook background picture :

The older woman is the same one that's doing card readings in the video. I find her difficult to read as if she's trying to hide something. The younger woman next to her is easier to read however. She's full of a demonic spirit that looks like some strange animal that is hard to describe. She might just be in for a reading and probably has nothing to do with the Christalignment group but to me they seem strangely in sync as if her (demonic) spirit is in sync with some other spirit that is at work through or around the older woman. And that certainly wouldn't be the Holy Spirit.

Years ago Bethel seemed to be a place where the Spirit gifted could flourish...Is this so called ministry part of Bethel or has Bethel just allowed them there?
