I'd read there have been several suicides.

It never fails to amaze me that people do things that they know are wrong and they don't know how to cope with the consequences.

I'm betting this man needed serious couch time.. how unfortunate he wasn't able to get help so this didn't happen.

Its terrible that he felt he could only deal with this by suicide

Lately it seems like many evangelicals have been exposed for a hidden life . We know it has always happened but the media mostly targeted large pent/charis ministries in the past

Yes, very sad. I wonder if this was another case of a person just taking a look at the site out of curiosity, without actually meeting anyone from the site.

Sometimes I think pastors are held to too high a standard: They are people like everyone else; they have their own problems and their weaknesses. No one is perfect.

I wish these hackers had found a more productive way to employ their skills than ruining the lives of so many people.

He helped others but could not use that truth for himself...there is lot's to be looked at in that statement...

I have known people whose life was so 'giving' and I knew that something was amiss in their heart...we must be careful to guard our relationship with Jesus. If we believe we must be perfect and others are accepted there is a problem.

Years ago The Lord helped me with this...I still had an orphan spirit...felt like the 'red headed step child'. Someone asked me once if I felt like the only reason I was in the Kingdom was because God had no choice..as in He spread His net and because I landed in it, He was stuck with me too...and I did.

There is no doubt that pastors get caught up in this mask wearing condition due to a lie...others won't be helped if they see MY imperfections...this is sort of a 'God syndrome' thinking...if I reveal I am imperfect they will fall...what does that mean? If their faith is in ME it's misplaced anyway!

This is sad...true acceptance of God's love and grace WULD have produced a very different outcome for ALL involved...praying for the family and all that he ministered to.
