Yeah, me too! - Guess I'm just "old-school" when it comes to some things.

It's also rather distracting for me to see someone on his or her cellphone during service - It makes me think they're not paying attention, but "surfing" the web or whatever - I never considered they might be using a Bible app.

People do all sorts of things, take and send pics, text people about the meeting, write notes etc.

I have to constantly deal with a hyper-active four year old, so I'm grateful my pastor provides the scripture on the screen.

    Nah.

My Bible means a lot to me, I'll need to get it rebound sooner rather than later.

All of the markings and little notes from past revelations the Lord has quickened to me, inspired "rabbit trails" from past sermons, etc ...
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

I agree.....That is a very good reason to still use a Bible and make notes

But is it an Apple 1611 smart phone. No other phone will give you the correct bible translations.
