Transgender man cleared to compete for spot on Olympic women's volleyball team
-April 6, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — A stocky, 32-year-old biological man who believes he is a “woman” has been cleared by the governing body of American volleyball to compete as a woman and possibly earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic volleyball team.
In January, Hawaiian Tia Thompson, born male, was approved by USA Volleyball to compete as a woman, according to a report by KHNL-TV in Honolulu.
USA Volleyball is the national governing body for the sport and is recognized as such by the Federation Internationale de Volleyball and the United States Olympic Committee.”
Thompson believes he’s advancing the “transgender” cause by competing as a “woman,” saying “I am living my truth, and if this can help other trans athletes, then it’s worth it.”
But his “truth” does not comport with actual biological truth in the minds of many critics. Honolulu-based Hawaii News Now reports, “There has been some push back” from the volleyball community, but based on the anonymity, people are afraid to voice their opposition in public...

He is not a woman, he just thinks he is. I don't think it is physically fair to do this.

It has the potential to ruin the women's division in sports.

There's a reason why the men and women are divided in Olympic Events, and unless the Olympic officials are prepared to drop all the barriers between the two sexes, then I would suggest that they need to stipulate you must be born a biological man or woman to compete in an event. (with the exception of someone born as a hermaphrodite)

I read some story a few weeks ago, I can't remember which sport, but some guy that thinks he's a woman beat the whole field and won. And of course many are whining about it. Hey, the whole LGBT has brought this on themselves. If it's them complaining, they have no right to. This used to kinda outrage me, but not now. Even people who aren't LGBT go along with and support their agenda. I'm sure many of the women in the Volleyball organization support LGBT. Well guess what? This is what happens. The consequences are coming home to roost. I don't feel sorry for the situation at all. Deal with it.

People are being brainwashed socially into accepting a version of homosexuality and homosexuals that is painted in all rosy colors instead of dealing or trying to deal with the reality of it. It's almost cultlike. Watching Bruce Jenner recently talk about whatever political issue it was I got the impression that if I had bought the impression that they are trying to sell then I would have seen a normal but beautiful and wise transgender person and all that was really there was a 65 year old man employing the stature that his physical age affords him with and the rest was part of the pro-LGBT package. The cultlike mindset produces idols that people have to relate to and they are abominable. The pro-LGBT package and idolatry of the alleged righteousness and normality of the whole thing might ensure that people don't dare speak out even against the demolition of the women's division in sports. The idol may simply be too strong. Conformity to the spirit of this world and its gods might win.
