They should have the legal right to detain shoplifters...and if they become violent and attack they should have the right to increase their restraints as needed.....shoplifter are committing criminal activity as with any criminal activity should be stopped. The police are rarely just outside the door or around the corner...criminals know this and rely on intimidation and speed to avoid arrest....I look at it this way...if people see a person snatch someone's purse should they have the right to try and stop them..to detain them for the police? I ay absolutely...the same scenario took place in the beauty supply store..the thief hit the person blocking the door first so he increased his effort to detain..

She sill got away and as I understand it he was arrested? Our world is so backward....so many sympathize with criminals and accuse those trying to stop it as wrong....

No wonder we are fast becoming a lawless society where young people believe they are entitled to take what they want...arresting HIM (beauty supply guy)empowered her and so many other...

Her whole person screams of "I will not be held accountable". Typical criminal attitude and mindset.

Just crazy. Caught in a crime and you'd think she was the victim the way she's talking.
