Thinking Out Loud - Women's March

Question: Can a Christian woman who is fully surrendered to Christ take part in the women's march? Where do we see such a thing in the Bible? Isn't the point of the march to demand that their rights not be taken away? But if a woman is surrendered to Christ, doesn't she KNOW where her rights come from? What does she then expect for government to do that God cannot do for her? To me, it seems to show a lack of true faith in God to gather with self-proclaimed "nasty" women, most of whom are pro-abortion, and whose sponsors (Soros, PP, NARAL) are strongly anti-Christian.

I worry about Christian women getting caught up in this worldly rant against authority. I think in the coming years they will be easily swayed to even more dangerous events and philosophies because clearly the world has their ear. They are in tune with the world to a very dangerous extent, IMO.

I agree Bookman. Feminists certainly don't speak for me.

Where is their anger and hate for the way women in Muslim countries are treated? Why aren't they over there spewing their venom for the causes of their fellow women?

When the women in America have suffered flogging, stoning, beheading, beatings, raped by dozens of men, acid being thrown on them, being burned alive, not being allowed to leave home without a male family member, not being allowed to drive a car (if they are wealthy enough and live somewhere they have cars), covered from head to toe in black clothing, not allowed to pursue education, imprisoned, arranged marriages, arranged marriages as youngsters ......

.....then I might be interested in hearing about "rights".

Yes, there has been some oppression of women in America. In 1982 I went to work as a blue collar worker. I did the same work as a man and was paid the same. That was 34 years ago. We had abortion and birth control. Sexual harassment was illegal as was job discrimination. Gay rights have come in recent years.

Christian women have no business supporting the what we saw over the weekend.

Any real christian woman with discernment would avoid that march like the plague....if they do march it's because they have submitted themselves to a deceiving spirit

I watched a few interviews of women in the marches, it didn't seem like they were all on the same page at all. A few were actually pro-Trump so I think the media once again dishonestly chracterized the marchers as having some radical far left agenda when in fact, I don't think that was the case.

That was naïve on their part then...they were 'counted' as pro choice as that was essentially a march for abortion...feminists and the media refuse to allow true 'women's issues' to be dissected from abortion...

Just like the Mexico bill President Trump just dealt with....it was not about women's 'health' it was about ABORTION....the bill did not remove funding for women's health....it simply adds a clause that if abortion is offered the funds will not be given...

If women really do care about other women they will want them to get health care even if it does exclude abortions but pro abortionists would rather hold hostage all funds in order to force funding for abortions...that proves how evil this agenda really is and how ANTI GOD it is...
