Trump spiritual adviser Paula White
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/05/politi...inkId=33075150
(CNN)President-elect Donald Trump's longtime religious adviser, Paula White, is firing back at critics who have called her a heretic and questioned her personal finances and romantic history.
"I have been called a heretic, an apostate, an adulterer, a charlatan, and an addict. It has been falsely reported that I once filed for bankruptcy and -- my personal favorite -- that I deny the Trinity!"
"I have hesitated to even address such patently false accusations about my personal life and my beliefs so as to not dignify them with a response," White said in a statement. The 50-year-old pastor is one of six religious leaders scheduled to participate in Trump's inauguration on January 20.
"But since these comments pose a potential distraction to an otherwise celebratory and historic time in our country, I would like to set the record straight...

She is just caught in the middle of "Trump derangement syndrome." It's really getting stupid out there!

I doubt Paula will be his only advisor...Christians just need to keep praying for President Elect Truth to be surrounded by wise advisors chosen by God and led to wise decisions regarding our nation and not assume he won't by judging those around him...we must trust the LORD to do this and to do it HIS way.
judging tends to cloud our faith...I would not choose her as an advisor, but if God did I would trust HIM and listen. he taught me this regarding His leading to various denominations and theological persuasions...

I've never connected with Paula White, but I never questioned her Salvation and I've never heard her preach anything that is unscriptural. She just wasn't one that I clicked with spiritually. I don't believe the rumors I've heard either because that's all they were, rumors. Never saw evidence so I dismissed them.

The photos are from 2010 during the time when Hinn was divorced and Paula White had been divorced for a few years. Hinn explained his going to Rome for several days in his private jet by claiming that he was invited by the Vatican, which the Vatican then denied.

I try and see the positive in every preacher, and slow to judge and disparage without sufficient cause. I went to her services and as far as I saw, according to the scriptures. She does have a powerful, motivational preaching style and I can appreciate what she brings to the table. Personally, I thought she should minimize some of her TV "product-hawking", as I think it kinda dilutes her message and adds to controversy.
She may not do a lot for me, but I know better than to cross a line and denigrate her as a "heretic, blah blah blah" like from the HH corner. Controversy does not indicate wrongdoing. She has been targeted by people who have typically come against the Pente preachers, often just repeating the same unfounded false accusations and dislike for that sector of the Body of Christ.
I am glad she has gone on air to set the record straight for herself, and this is the time to do it.

I personally don't have anything against Paula White. I don't think she's a heretic. But she is, or at least was a spiritual train wreck. Some unscriptural stuff on giving, the 'special offerings' from the Bible like Steve Munsey does (special blessing passover offering, etc), after divorcing, marrying a former rock star that talked about them watching porn to help the marriage (don't know anything about him or if he's saved or not), etc. She's not someone I would follow.

I remember when this hit the news stands. He was doing a big crusade here in Oakland, CA. My brother was there and Benny talked quite a bit about it. He was very apologetic and embarrassed.
There's too much I could say on this one but i'm going to leave it alone. Trump doesn't know or understand church politics or what's gone on in what I'll call the TBN world

My distinct impression of her is that she's just some celebrity minister. There must be hundreds of them in the United States. She may well have lots of good theology, some of them do.
