My wife and I heard Paula and her then husband Randy preach in 1995 and we really liked them. There was definitely an anointing on both of them and many were blessed.

Over the years sadly they lost their way and divorced and as Fuego said Paula began to promote financial gimmicks using scripture.
From what I read her marriage dissolved because Randy got involved with someone else and she went through a time of confusion.

In a recent video Todd White talks about ministers speaking from their titles rather than their actual lives. Maybe that is what she has come to rely on, her celebrity minister status.

That's my general impression of Americans who are on television, especially when they pass 40. The women wear lots of makeup and in general people tend to look a bit extravagant.

A bit of a sidebar here, and let's be lighthearted about this. But I like to extend alot of grace concerning "the makeup thing." In some cultures its the men who wear makeup, and maybe they would wear even more too after their younger years.

In the broadcast world, TV people know they will be criticized if they don't "look their best", so you can't blame them if they enhance that more than someone on the street. Note to pastors: Don't ever say the cliche in your sermon - "If the barn needs painting...", as you may well be tempted to paint yourself too if that was socially acceptable. Simply, makeup is a way for a woman to emphasize her looks to look best in western culture (of course the spiritual is most important, for the record).

I remember, when Joyce Meyer did not look that presentable when she first started on TV, but now she has found her best look (so to speak), and I say good for her.

Gloria Copeland looks 80 with her television makeup that's meant for closeups but a lot younger than that in a video from some meeting in 2015 or 2016. At least Gloria just looks old with tons of makeup on, some of the television presenters that are 40-60 look like prostitutes their own age. You may call it a culture thing but I really think they just don't know how or care about keeping their makeup within what is natural looking. Paula White doesn't actually look that awful with one pound of makeup on, she looks more like a doll.

I think Paula has 'men' issues...she is drawn to men of celebrity status, maybe for personal identity, so to speak, and that is my concern here..we have 2 people who have a history of migrating to the next person that grabs their eye...it would be devastating to our nation for these two to hook up....and both seem immature enough in that area to do just that...I have no doubt the media will pursue that angle in the near future....bad idea for him to have an advisor with his and her history, IMHO...what does the scripture say about avoiding appearances of evil? 1 Thess. 5:22 and both of them seem too immature or too arrogant to give much attention to that warning, IMHO If they do not guard themselves with strong male accountability there will AT LEAST be gossip and rumors many will swallow without a second thought...we are not ignorant of Satan's devices....

Here is her first national appearance in 1993 when she was 50 :

She looks normal to me (for the times) and she still does !
