It's likely that the person we know as "Trumpeter" is a follower of "prophet" Timothy. He has an IP out of Canada, I think the core group is US based.

He's probably just an isolated person who fell into the group. Hopefully, he'll come out of it.

There is a particular mind set that is attracted to these kinds of things. Lonely, powerless, etc.

It relates to a thread AJ posted, sociopaths love the church...plenty of victims that are able and willing to step up, sign up, send cash, trumpet, whatever.

Sociopaths are like lions or wolves, they don't go after the strongest animal in the flock but target the weaker. You can watch Animal planet to learn all you need to know about them. Of course, you could also read the bible but TEEVEE seems to be the learning tool of choice these days.

There is a spirit of exclusivist correctness in that stuff. You wouldn't care much about that sort of thing but there are many religious people with little or no knowledge of life in God and the things of the Spirit that would find that alluring. Once sucked in, they'd get a profound sense of community within that spirit of correctness.
