For all ya'll that want to live to 100 and beyond...

    Behold your new hero

    http://blackamericaweb.com/2016/08/1...ng-slave-menu/

Bishop Eddie Long of Atlanta's New Birth megachurch, hasn't been heard from much since the sexual allegations that rocked his ministry some years back. But as he was never charged or tried, the allegations of misconduct faded away. Apparently, that's given Bishop Long a new lease on life. He told his congregation that his recent weight loss is because of a new diet and the elimination of a 'slave menu.'

    The YBF.com reports:

Bishop Eddie Long has dropped a significant amount of weight and he's showing off a lean new look. The megachurch pastor credits it all to his new raw/vegan diet and he urges his followers to jump on the bandwagon.

    He looks...interesting.

In a Facebook video, Bishop Long (who is seen working out on some exercise equipment) explains how he achieved his brand new trimmed bod and said he's in much better health. He said folks had been hitting him up asking him "What's going on?," so he decided to reveal how he got it.

He said he told his congregation he was on a mission to live past 100-years-old. And the way he plans on doing it, it by leaving the old "slave menu" behind.
"I wasn't going to get [to 100-years-old] by stopping by Popeye's. That was my weakness," he said. "The biscuits with honey and chicken wangs, spicy."
We should have known he was a 2 piece spicy type of dude.

Bishop Long no longer eats fast food. He's on a raw vegetable diet and he's urging his followers to get rid of the "slave menu" to achieve better health. He credit his raw vegan diet for the weight loss and said that his blood pressure is now at a healthy number and no longer has to take medication to keep his blood pressure under control.

"I'm on the medicine that God gave you to feed your immune system to build you up. You know what, if you really want to move through this world and have influence you gotta be spiritual and you have to walk by His commandments and you have to be healthy."
He also noted he's doing a (free) webinar on how to eat healthy and to live long. He ended the clip saying, "The muscles are coming back baby!"

I thought the pic was somebody that had lived to 100 before I read the article. He may live to 100 eating like that but he looks like he already is that old.

I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him... ain't interested in hearing anything he has to say.

If he was "restored" he would come clean publicly since he is a public figure who has paid church / ministry money to keep his sins from coming to light.

Sure, he could repent privately before the Lord and be good concerning salvation, but until he makes things right publicly he should not be trusted.

Most famous preachers should not be trusted -

    2 Timothy 4:3
    For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Too many ear ticklers out there!

So Popeye's and biscuits with honey is a slave menu?

He looks very hard, like he's on a very strict workout and dietting regime.

I just re-read this on Charisma...someone asked (pointed out) why would EL mention his immune system in all this?

“I’m on the medicine that God gave you to feed your immune system to build you up.

I think some may be thinking something is rotten in Norway.
