    Same here. :)

In OT days some children were stoned for their actions against their parents. IJS

That sounds like a very creative and effective disciplinary method - I was only occasionally and mildly spanked by my Mom, and it worked - but a more effective method (when I was a teen) would have been to force me to walk on the street holding her hand ...

I wish some people would figure that out.
These kids were breaking into houses and stealing other people's possessions.

After finally reading the story and seeing what they did and what she did, she never should have been arrested. And what about the kids? They're not going to be prosecuted? Has the 'beating' distraction totally taken the focus off the fact these kids are thieves?

"They're just being kids, being followers," Spears said. "I thought I was showing them this is not what you do. You do not steal people's stuff, what they work hard for. I know how that feels, I've had my house broken into."

She told News 2 that someone saw her story on TV and showed up to post her bond for her.
Good for her and good for the person that bailed her out.

If the spanking don't hurt it will do no good. However, I believe that my Dad's belt was used with love, "ouch", but he was not directed by the Spirit. I used to get a good switching before I went to church just to let me know if I didn't behave I would get another one after church. However, I believe it was a help to me and made me into such the nice and kind person that I am.

I was with you until I read that they had cuts and bruises on their arms and legs. That is a bit extreme IMO. Of course, she knows her kids, it might have taken that for them to listen. I don't know... I don't know her, don't know her kids, don't know their environment. I do know the streets will beat them down much worse than she ever will.

You can forget about unexpected repair costs with an extended service contract for your Saab. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
