DOJ Scrubbed References to Islam From Transcripts of Orlando Terrorist's 911 Calls
Partial transcripts of the conversations between authorities and Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen were released by the FBI on Monday.
Mateen, who killed 49 and wounded 53 in the June 12 shooting at a gay nightclub, spoke to 911 dispatchers several times during the massacre.
The transcripts of those calls, however, do not include Mateen's oath of loyalty to ISIS or any other religious justification for the attack.
Here is what the FBI released: (go to the link below to read what they released).
In a press conference, U.S. attorney Lee Bentley said the redactions were made to avoid "re-victimizing" the survivors of the terror attack.
"We wanted to release the transcripts at this time so that the public can have a better idea of the timeline during the morning hours of June 12th, and also so that you have a better idea of what the law enforcement officers on the ground were dealing with when they made the decision to enter the nightclub," Bentley said.
FBI Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge Ron Hopper Ron Hopper said later in the press conference that they omitted references to Islam and ISIS because, "We are not going to propagate violent rhetoric."

The decision by U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch to redact the transcript was met with criticism from some, including Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan.
"Selectively editing this transcript is preposterous," Ryan said in a statement. "We know the shooter was a radical Islamist extremist inspired by ISIS. We also know he intentionally targeted the LGBT community. The administration should release the full, unredacted transcript so the public is clear-eyed about who did this, and why."

They scrubbed it so hard that even the guy's prayer in Arabic where he says "allah" they put "God."
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

LOL..I did. Lemme quote the first paragraph for the non-link clickers. ;)
Under pressure from Republican leaders, the Justice Department on Monday afternoon reversed itself and released a full, uncensored transcript of the Orlando terrorist's 911 call on the night of the massacre, calling the morning's furor over omissions in the document "an unnecessary distraction..."
