As I have discussed with victoryword previously, there is a difference between God actively judging and God allowing the devil to affect people negatively because of their sin. The latter is of course still what is going on, God doesn't step in to fend off the devil when the devil has authority over people due to their sin. God's angels are here to stall the forces of evil in general so that things don't get much worse but people are still under the devil's authority on an individual basis. And if they collectively decide to make things worse for themselves, then that does of course matter in terms of what power the devil can wield.

    Luke 13:1-9

    (1) There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

    (2) And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
    (3) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
    (4) Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
    (5) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

    (6) He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
    (7) Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
    (8) And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
    (9) And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

If some "prophet" says Orlando was God's judgement, what will he say when the same thing happens to a church that preaches the gospel without compromise? Will that be God's judgement too? You can't have it both ways. And to be sure, such events are coming to America. As I said in another thread, now is a time of preparation. If you're not prepared for the coming hard times, you'll be easy prey for the enemy.

Yeah, interpreting everything bad that happens as God's specific judgment is going way too far. Especially when it is interpreted to mean that those who weren't affect are somehow better than those were affected, that has been a cause of a lot of anger against God.

Good point. So what happened at the church in SC was God's judgement on those church people too if Orlando was God's judgement. We have to treat them all the same. The shooting of all those school children a few years ago was God's judgement against them, etc.

You understood me correctly, Cardinal. I agree that there is sowing and reaping and that things are waxing worse and worse. We live in a fallen world.

God, by His Holy Spirit, warns us of impending danger; either we are dull of hearing, or we ignore the warning thinking we're just being paranoid. Somebody in that church (North Carolina), particularly the pastor or church leaders should have discerned something wasn't right with that man. IJS

Brian Carn, that is the guy with all the false prophecies for 2015, including having to stay away from pork because of a new swine disease. The prophecies that he allegedly stole from some psychic's video. We had a thread about him not long ago.
