    I don't have a problem if some one wants to donate their body to science however, I'm not sure I would make that choice for myself or a loved one. Perhaps it's because I've not known anyone who made that choice.

    The Jews at the time of the Bible would very much like their body to be intact so that it could easily be resurrected again by God, instead of cremated, eaten by animals, cut into pieces etc. Today we are more concerned that someone will get our intact body and then do something strange with it, including resurrect it and turn us into guinea pigs or something. Cremation does away with that and then only God can resurrect us.

    I have "Organ Donor" checked on my driver's license.

    But, as Femme said, I don't know if they can use anything from a 63 year-old woman - If my eyes or some other organ can save a life, I say "Go for it," cause I won't be needing it any more (LOL)

    However, I do NOT want to be cremated - I think that's an entirely different thing - Not condemning anyone who would, but it's just not for me.
