Franklin Graham calls for boycott of Girl Scout cookies

-The son of America's most famous televangelist is calling for a boycott on Girl Scout cookies.

Reverend Franklin Graham, whose father is Billy Graham, says that people should show how upset they are with the group's leadership supporting gay and transgender rights by refusing to buy the treats sold annually by the young girls in the organization.

He made this statement on Facebook while supporting St. Louis Archbishop Robert Carlson, who called on all priests to severe ties with the Girl Scouts because their values are 'incompatible' with Catholic teachings.

Shortly after Archibishop Carlson made this declaration, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri raised a record amount of money at its annual fundraiser.

St. Louis Archbishop Robert Carlson isn't worried about being politically correct in letting people know about it either,' wrote Reverand Graham in his Facebook post.

'He told church members and scout leaders that the Girl Scouts is wrong in their support of transgender rights and homosexuality and is not aligned with the teachings of his church.

'The archdiocese also revealed that a Girl Scout troop in Utah was formed specifically to reach out to transgendered youth and that the Girl Scouts celebrated the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage on its Instagram and Twitter accounts.

'Archbishop Carlson is exactly right - the "ways of the world" are incompatible with biblical values. More church leaders need his boldness in speaking the truths that set those who follow God's Word apart from the rest of the world...

I have always supported the Girl Scouts (and my sweet tooth - LOL) by purchasing their cookies for years and years and years...

...For some reason, this year, I've walked by their tables, time after time, and haven't been tempted (or led) to stop at all - which is huge for me.

    Hmmm, now I know why.

    Unhappy

I learned about their support of the perverse homosexual lifestyle including their endorsement of abortion a couple of years ago. It was challenging giving up Thin Mint cookies, but more difficult was saying "no" to those precious, innocent girls when asked to buy their cookies. Simply heartbreaking.

I don't have any trouble saying no to them.

Now, getting my husband to is a whole other subject.. Although, since I've been pointing out this stuff, he's agreed to stop too.

Yes, I guess it's easy for some to turn off their heart. But when those precious, innocent little girls ask me to buy their cookies, although it's simple to say no, it still pains me, not for my sake but for theirs.

And I'm angry at the leaders for putting me in that position. They took a wonderful organization and destroyed it with perversion. And who suffers? Innocent little girls.

    yeah, I'm a real meanie..

It's easy to say no to their poison. (almost all of their cookies have partially hydrogenated oils. I've told them that's part of why I won't buy them.)
