I took it as well a host of other people I know and it got us through covid. In fact, some were very desperate and it basically saved their lives.
It's been a reliable medication for decades both for humans and animals (depending on weight) yet now it's evil and bad for human consumption.
Our family vet tells us to give our dogs melatonin.

Remember this tweet from the FDA (and a drug APPROVED by them) in spite of ivermectin being used for years on humans and if I remember billions of doses to humans globallly? And pre covid articles about it being a wonder drug? Just total disregard for the true science about ivermectin.
Introduced in humans in 1987,[9] today it is used to treat infestations including head lice, scabies, river blindness (onchocerciasis), strongyloidiasis, trichuriasis, ascariasis and lymphatic filariasis.[10][11][8][12] It works through many mechanisms to kill the targeted parasites,[10] and can be taken orally, or applied to the skin for external infestations.[10][13] It belongs to the avermectin family of medications.[10]
William Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for its discovery and applications.[14] It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines,[15] and is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as an antiparasitic agent.[16] In 2018, it was the 420th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than 100,000 prescriptions.[17] It is available as a generic medicine.[18][19]

Not to mention they were pretty smug about it:
The FDA Was Internally Thrilled Over That Viral Ivermectin Horse Paste Tweet

The first thing my doctor asked when I told her I had tested positive was if they had prescribed ivermectin. We didn't get into a discussion about it but she suggested several vities. I was there for a reg visit for something else. I didn't feel bad enough to see her when I was tested.
On the one hand, people should not take Ivermectin dose for animals, not because Ivermectin is dangerous, but because the dosage is inconsistent. On the other hand, it is safe and legal to prescribe it off label, no matter what the government and our media say. One could make the point that doctors and pharmacies stubbornly refusing to order or fill scripts are responsible for the illness that comes from people taking the animal paste version.

I have not heard of ANYONE getting sick from the livestock version of ivermectin but I've heard lots of stories about how quickly they recovered from covid BECAUSE they took it. I have trouble believing that horse owners would give their horses an inferior product. If you know anything about most horse people, their horses are just as important as any pet that people might have and treat them with love and respect.
Roger follows a podcast on YouTube by Bret Weinstein (doctorate in biology and his wife Heather is an evolutionary biologist, so very educated people) (long/live is Bret Weinstein and short version is called Dark Horse Podcast Clips) who has researched it well and has said that even when grossly overdosed, the patient suffers no ill effects, except maybe some diarrhea, which is a common side effect anyways. He's also said to take it with a fatty meal for better absorption. They make no distinction between the veterinary or human products and they're both taking ivermectin prophylactically.
With the bans on dispensing ivermectin for covid being enforced by pharmacies, I would rather take my chances on a veterinary version than end up in the hospital on remdesivir and a ventilator, which has a 50% death rate. Ivermectin does not kill, even when taken in too high a dose.
And, there is a clear liquid version of the livestock version.
Appreciate that but it's about risk/benefit. It's just there, got some awhile ago just in case.
I remember reading a post you made about it some time ago about the Ivermectin not being evenly distributed throughout the tube but I don't think that's quite right, they don't batch tubes one at a time, they make big batches and then fill the tubes. Vet meds have some very strict manufacturing standards.
No worries though, I'm not putting it on my toast every morning.
