It's no more "tongue in cheek" than that. A Chinese communist doing propaganda during the cultural revolution in the 1960s could have said the exact same thing. There's an all transgender choir in San Francisco too and they sing gospel and spirituals. A friend of mine sent me some pictures. They was singing outdoors at a park I think.

You've never seen such a mess in your life.

There's a push to lower the age of consent to 12. Folks, I am not kidding.
