As I said in another thread, there are only two fathers. A true believer isn't going to sell his soul to the devil.
Yeah, that was kind of the pitch, it's not what you know but who you know, the contacts were the value proposition. I agree that wandering around with an organization that keeps the concept of God fuzzy may lead to a hunger for the truth and salvation, eventually but I'm also sure some of the folks know the score even if they are "low level", especially now with the internet and all. It's pretty easy to suss it out, do the homework that wasn't available a generation ago.

Another thing about Freemasons is that the vows they make, even in the initiation and lower levels, bring generational curses into the bloodlines. I've taken a number of people through the renunciations for Freemasons curses.

The Baptist church we first went to in Ontario was full of men who were masons. They were the back benchers, but they ruled what happened in that church. Looking back now, I see the warfare in that church was intense - although, at the time I was such a noob I had no idea why there was such difficulty and what was really going on. We left that church after 4-5 years, but masons permeated our whole town. They were everywhere and in every business, every church, every place you went.
One of my nieces married a Baptist boy. His family was Baptist for many generations and all Masons. I think there's a connection there. He was a low level Mason but was invited to go to a high level which required ceremonies and being sworn to secrecies. He declined and got out.

Top tier masons are definitely into some dark stuff.

As a tradesman, my grandfather was a Mason, I think it was something that all the men joined back in the day. I believe it was more a social club for him, I doubt seriously he ever rose in the ranks, but I don't know. I do know that he was buried with his ring, it was difficult to remove and my mother did not want it. As a girl, I attended Bible study with a "Job's Daughter" I don't remember much about it and certainly didn't pursue it. Weird how normal this all seemed to me. I guess they get you "in degrees"

I have seen some of that Baptist/Lodge connection. One brother I had mentored out of drug recovery and troubles was very impressionable for help out of his poverty and worsened by seeing his family pastoring churches. I could not break the pull on his soul. One day we sat on the front pew and he told me he was going to become a mason because his brothers were...and thinking it was important to his ministry. I told him the Holy Ghost you feel and enjoy in this church (I was pastoring late 1990's and in full blown revival) comes with a high price that will cost you your heart, life and soul. I went on to say that if he stepped into free masonry it wont be free and the Holy Ghost will fly away like a dove.

About 3 weeks later he spoke of a woman he was involved with and then didnt hear from him for almost 20 years. He is still troubled.

Here are 12 short articles by Charles Finney on Freemasonry. I haven't read them.

Index of Articles in THE INDEPENDENT by President Charles G. Finney

    And a book on it.

I remember as a teen, my Pastor praying with us in our home (we were having some weirdness at the time) and breaking curses, might have been the Mason thing? I don't know. I do remember my grandfather would not go to church except for weddings and funerals.

I wish all Masons would do that. That is, unless they intended to repent, renounce and get saved. Some of the worst damage to my ministry has been done by Masons.

You can forget about unexpected repair costs with an extended service contract for your Saab. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
