I have had concerns about the prophetic for years as many can testify on this forum while coming from a prophetic background myself...way before Trump became president.

I was in a quandry because I wanted the 'prophetic voices' to be right about Trumps re-election but was troubled because I knew many prophesied out of their own heart on other issues.
I hoped for the best thinking maybe they can still get it right about Trump - alas I was wrong

I believe as John mentioned that God can use faith and prophesy in politics - I have no problems if its really God speaking and if believers want to stand on their convictions.

The errors began years ago and were not necessarily political in content. These errors increased with no accountability with many of these 'prophets'.
Steve Schultz of Elijah list shows little discernment in promoting prophecies that are nonsense.
The clicks they get generate income so that justifies a continuous display of the latest prophecies. Sid Roth program has also contributed to many ridiculous prophesies and teachings.

The truth is 99.9% of these prophecies should be thrown out the window and I'm not talking about politics. 99.9% of these 'prophets' should not be followed.

I have read the comments by many Christians to some of these people and it borders on idolatry. They are so desperate to get a word from God they rely on these prophetic voices.
Many of these 'prophets' love the attention for their ministries and it generates income but it leads to giant deception.

If you notice it started with many male voices but now many are female proclaiming themselves as prophets. They all need a giant dose of humility

BTW If Trump does enter politics in 2024 and gets re-elected as president I still stand by my comments about the prophetic movement.
These errors started way before Trump and got mixed in with politics.

I believe Trump is going to be back but not from any prophets. There are many, many in the Truther Community who have intel that it's still in the works and is, indeed going to happen. I can wait. A person has to hope for something good to come out of this covid mess.

I agree. We can still pray and believe for something better and if God raises Trump up again I am 100% for that

I'm in core groups that are interceeding for sweeping repentance. Our land is swallowed up in darkness, and that for good reason. Yeah, Trump would be great for our nation and world...but the problem that put us here will still exist and draw judgment.

Yep, pretty amazing. JJ even changed the nature and direction of his ministry over it. I read on Shawn Bolz's Instagram where he said something along the lines of stepping back from it himself, at least for a time. This was a wake up call for prophetic ministry. I've always honored it, but this boggles my mind how almost all, and some of them very reputable missed it. The only guy I heard get it right was a video of a black pastor I posted on here from about '17 I think, that said God told him Trump would be a one term pastor and a couple of other things.

I have been burdened by what is happening in and to America. I have been asking God to remove those whom He already knows will never repent and come to the faith and to turn their own schemes back upon their heads. But the first part of my prayers is that He wake up His sleeping bride with a revival in the church, and THEN an awakening in the nation through that revival. Many of the virgins are still snoring, and many that think they are awake have no oil for their lamps. IF the bride of Christ were to actually awaken, and get about actually making disciples, then America might have a chance at being turned back towards our roots in Christ as a nation.

I still blame this whole mess, the condition of our nation on a church who neglected her basic duty to make disciples. The true gospel has been watered down for over a century and we are reaping the results today. Our government is filled with devils. Trump could come back in 2024 and make a difference to our economy. However, it will take a church full of disciples who actually go out on purpose to make more disciples of Jesus in order to make a spiritual difference in America.

This is a false prophecy and a deceiving spirit that has brought ridicule to the prophetic movement. I have friends who want to fight anyone who tries to show them this is total error. I never watch Kat Kerr one of the major proponents of this prophecy. I did watch the Elijah Streams broadcast with her as guest yesterday. This woman is so out in left field I would never believe anything she has to say. She lost a brother a few days ago and said he went to "Christmasville" in Heaven where it snows all the time, and he invents and builds toys for children ! I was shocked that many quote her as as their source for the Trump Return prophecies. Like the Millerites who went to their housetops and awaited the second return of Jesus ,the "Trump Returns soon" believers are still pressing this prophetic error as truth. There is not one shred of truth to this prophecy. How can the church ask anyone to believe us when we embrace this kind of stuff ?
Let people be is my motto. Tune it out if necessary. It's kind of like the vaccines. I went to dinner last night with an elderly retired pastor. A big smile came across his face and he announced to me that he got his 2n vaccine shot. In my head I was thinking "Oh Lord help" but I just smiled and said "well God bless you" and kept it moving.

I've got a few family members who I secretly call "CNN zombies". If their Doctor says it, if conventional medicine says it, if Dr fauci says it, if it's reported by our wonderful mainstream media, it might as well have been in the pages of the Bible. They're going to believe it no matter what I say.

Yep. No one should be demonized or criticized for making personal health decisions. I think that is what they want though, another point of division.

It reminds me of the situation with the early Pentecostals when the "Great War" hit them in 1914-1918 and they all thought that Jesus was coming back within a few years. "Everyone" was prophesying to that effect but since over 100 years have passed since then, it seems quite clear that they were all wrong. The ones that went beyond simply preaching that Word from the Bible, that is. I think they established some kind of social consensus within the community and it became far too easy to prophesy from that and not based on anything that God had said. They prophesied out of their own hearts and out of the hearts of their peers. It was a community thing. Discerning between the voice of God and the "voice" of a too tightly knit community can be difficult.
