The denoms today are going the wrong way today being influenced by the pompous charismatic splits. It is the very reason there is a need for revival in the churches. If denoms would have left the charismatics alone and let them go on into their strange beliefs, and if they would have stuck with the truth that they were born in, they would be okay.
Yes the denoms are the only ones that are making any progress today. Yet the charismatics tend to drag down the true denom churches and even though they are not a part of them they have an impact on them. I say leave the error ridden charismatic splits alone. Don't even fellowship with them. They have gone after their own devices. The last day revival, if there is one, will be in the denominations not in the charismatic churches who have followed man and gone into biblical error. God is still working with the denoms who were born in revival.

Would you mind giving me your definition of denominations, please?

When I refer to denominations, I'm thinking of Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, Episcopalian, Baptist, Church of God, and possibly Mennonite, just to name a few of the main ones. I've never considered Pentecostal a "main line" denomination because it was birthed out of a move of the Holy Spirit where people were baptized in the spirit with the manifestation of tongues and the gifts. It's been around long enough and there are enough branches of it now that I suppose it could be considered a main line denomination now.

So, would you take a few minutes here and tell me what you mean when you refer to denominations?
